Adventure with us

Welcome to Spellbound Inc. — an independent tabletop RPG studio producing adventures and support material for Mothership, Old-School Essentials, B/X D&D, and OSR fantasy. Everything here is written and illustrated by Simon Taylor, professional illustrator and veteran Game Master, with an emphasis on a dark, tense atmosphere, utility at the table and ease of use, all culminating in an experience leading to the GM/referee playing more at the table and prepping less.

This is where you’ll find what lurks in the corners of old rusted space stations and hides in the caverns below that temple the villagers thought were abandoned.

Art prints are available too, along with select merchandise drawn from the worlds behind the games.

So grab your sword, load your pulse rifle and decide…

A distress beacon breaks the jungle silence: Caldwell Outpost, a remote biological research station buried in the dripping canopy of Yggdrasil B, has gone dark—except for one hair-raising transmission. You answer. What waits inside the domes is worse than silence.

They called it Wolfsbane 34‑Q: a xenobiological flora that doesn’t stay rooted. It spores. It mirrors. It learns to wear faces. It takes fear and turns it into a scalpel. The infected don’t just die—their last act is to make everyone else doubt who’s real.

Wolfsbane is a tense, sandbox-styleinvestigation built for paranoia. Trust fractures, fingers get pointed, and every choice might be the one that saves—or dooms—what’s left of your crew. Play it as a self-contained one‑shot or slide it into an ongoing campaign; either way the game funnels players through mounting dread, creeping betrayal, and the slow, inevitable smother of the unknown.

Visually inspired by 1970s horror comics (think Swamp-Thing) and drawing on sci‑fi horror staples like The Thing and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Wolfsbane keeps the rules light and the tension heavy.
